NRC Announces Election Results for its Board of Directors

The National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association (NRC) announced today the results of the election for its 20-person Board of Directors. The Board elected the following board members to a two-year term extending from 2025 through 2027:

  • Chase Armstrong, Vice President, Commercial Development, R.J. Corman - elected to his second term
  • Russ Gehl, Executive Vice President - Business Development, Holland LP - elected to his third term
  • Kevin Hicks, Sr. Vice President & Freight Market Sector Leader, Gannett Fleming TranSystems - elected to his second term
  • Bob Hirte, Director of Railroad Development, Hamilton Construction - elected to his second term
  • Brett Urquhart, President, Martinus North America - elected to his second term

NRC Chairman Joe Daloisio was automatically re-elected to a new term due to his position on the NRC Executive Committee and its planned line of succession.

Last October, the NRC Board named Jerry Hegstrom, Director Commercial Development- Rail Services, with Northern Plains Rail Companies, to its Board of Directors. Mr. Hegstrom took the board seat recently vacated by a prior board member. His term extends through 2026.
