How a profile goes live

  1. A veteran submits the form. It becomes a draft in the collection, and Marian, Kathy and Roger get a notification email. Nothing is public yet.
  2. Open the Manager and check the photos. Re-crop from the stored original, or replace a photo with a better one. Keep the head clear of the top edge and the face clear of the dog tag.
  3. Correct the text. Spelling of ranks, company names, service years.
  4. Publish that record from the Manager. Only that record goes live. The counters on the wall update themselves.
  5. Someone emailed their details instead? Fill in the public form on their behalf, then carry on from step 2.
  6. Same person twice? The form never overwrites. It creates a second draft. Keep the better one and archive the other in the CMS.
Never press Publish in Webflow just to put a profile live. A site publish pushes every staged change on all of nrcma.org, not only the Wall. Use the Manager’s per-record publish.
